Rabbi Chaim was born and raised in Israel, where his father served as the Chief Rabbi of his hometown, Kiryat Motzkin. Chaim studied in rabbinical colleges in Israel, Morristown, New Jersey, Detroit, Michigan, and New York for more than ten years.

During those years, he served as a student intern, providing educational programs and holiday events in Eastern Europe and in various cities throughout the United States. Upon completing his studies, he received rabbinical ordination from leading rabbis in America and Israel.

In 2002, Rabbi Chaim assumed the leadership of the Jewish community in Central Switzerland. Since then, Chabad of Central Switzerland has become a central address for Jewish life, offering a wide variety of holiday, educational and social programs.

Mrs. Rivky Drukman
Program Director

Mrs. Rivky Drukman grew up in Zurich, where her father has led Chabad Switzerland for more than 40 years. After completing her primary education in Zurich, she finished high school in New York. She continued her studies at Beth Chana in Tzfat, Israel, and graduated with a teaching degree in Judaic Studies.

Rivky directs the Chabad Hebrew School, sharing her knowledge and love for Judaism with the children. She also directs adult education, the Jewish Women’s Circle and all children’s programs of Chabad of Central Switzerland.
