Invitation:
This coming Monday night starts the fast of Tisha B'av which commemorates the destruction of the Holy Temple over 2000 years ago. Traditionally, communitites get together and read the Megillat Eicha (Book of Lamentations), which describes the destruction.
I invite you, men, women and children (older than 10 years), to a joint reading of Eicha, as is customary, while sitting on the floor to the light of candles.
