Community Family Outing
The school year is soon coming to its end and before we all go in different directions for the summer break, we have organized an exciting Community Family Outing to
Affenberg (Monkey Mountain) Salem
On Sunday
June 14, 2009
Meeting Time:
12:30 at the Park Entrance
About the Park:
Located in Salem, Germany, just over the border at Konstanz, "Monkey Mountain" is a very exciting park for all ages. The main attraction is really unusual: You walk through a path in the forest area, which is the home range of over 200 monkeys. There are no cages or bars, so you actually meet the monkeys eye-to-eye and feed them specially prepared popcorn, which they gently pick out of your hand.
The Park is located on beautiful grounds including a large pond, many Water Birds and other animals such as Deer. Of course there is also a wonderful playground for children.
We have been there ourselves more than once and can assure you that a day at the Affenberg Salem is a unique and exciting experience for children of all ages and adults alike.
More info about the park: www.affenberg-salem.de
After the tour we can enjoy a nice picnic together on the grounds. Bring along lunch for your family.
Transportation:
The park is about 2 hr drive from Zug. Parking is available free of charge.
If you need a lift, please contact us to arrange. If you have extra space in your car and are willing to give someone a lift, please let us know as well.
RSVP:
We ask you to please register with us by June 8 if you can join.
This way we can organize the tickets in advance and get a group rate.
Feel free to bring along your friends.
We look forward to a great afternoon together,
Rabbi Chaim and Rivky Drukman
